How Long Will it Take for My Pad to Inflate?

 

Well, it depends! Factors such as size, baffle patterns, and insulation all influence flow. Larger, more convoluted pads will take longer, and may appear less full.

The Lux will inflate most backpacking mattresses in under 2 minutes, whereas the Classic takes about twice as long (4 minutes). Thicker or larger pads like the Big Agnes Rapide SL or Kilos Gears Elite will take longer while the Alpenblow fills the larger baffles and small crevices.

For the NeoLoft and double-wide pads, the Lux should be used.
